Full Job Description :-
The Casting Services Coordinators help staff the Walt Disney World® Parks and Resorts property with Cast Members. The Casting Services Coordinator is a role supporting the internal & external recruiting function. As a Casting Services Coordinator, you will contribute to the team’s overall success by providing a candidate & guest experience, providing administrative support, and delivering operational excellence to the organization. As part of this team, the Casting Services Coordinator needs to be energized by relationships and driven to ensure Candidates, Recruiters, and Clients experience memorable interactions.

The Casting Services Coordinator assignment is a seasonal position with a Casual Temporary- work status utilized in peak period with the potential for limited or no hours in the off-season with no guarantee of permanent placement. Working remotely, this role requires a supported high-speed internet and private work environment. Required to provide a minimum of 16 hours per week based on fluctuating operating hours/needs. Requirements may change based on business need. As the Seasonal Casting Services Coordinator you will need to provide a full consecutive week of availability for a paid mandatory training. Additional training will be conducted as needed.

Responsibilities :

Support recruiting tasks, including scheduling interviews & pre-employment appointments, updating calendars, responding to inquiries, and coordinating hiring activities by phone, videoconferencing (Zoom), in-person events
Support internal transfers by accurately maintaining position list
Review the hiring process with candidates and answer questions
Track and report recruitment activity data in Applicant Tracking System (Kenexa) to support staffing metrics
Attend in-person hiring events, info sessions, and job fairs for recruiting and company recognition
Manage candidates during the on-site/remote interview experience and address challenges as they arise
Develop relationships with Guest, Cast Members and Leadership from all lines of business to provide service
Provide Guest Service when problems arise and help find solutions with Guests and Cast Members
Maintain discretion and confidentiality
Passion & knowledge of Disney Products
Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of our operations
Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Basic Qualifications :

Written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
Grammar fluency and professional email etiquette
Computer proficiency within a Microsoft Windows environment
Navigate between multiple and concurrent computer applications
Work in a structured and goal-driven environment
Participate by attending in-person job fair & career events
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including overtime, weekends and holidays
Ability to use sound judgment and decision making
Must be able to work independently, with limited or no supervision at times
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated computer proficiency with SAP
Bilingual
Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
Knowledge of company policy and technologies
Experience with Kenexa or equivalent ATS

Required Education :

High school degree or equivalent

Preferred Education :

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
