The Cultural Representative Program is a twelve-month work experience located at
Walt Disney World® Resort, near Orlando, Florida. Participants have the opportunity to share the unique culture and customs of their country with Guests, while working different front line, guest facing roles. Participants must authentically represent one of the countries or regions we have recreated in look and feel at the
Walt Disney World Resort.

Countries and regions represented are: Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, Southeast Asia (India, Indonesia, Thailand), Sub-Saharan Africa (Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe), and United Kingdom.

Accepting applications for Merchandise positions that could start between August 2022 and May 2023.

Responsibilities :

Our Italy Cultural Representatives will be placed in a Merchandise role. Below is the description for this position.

Epcot World Showcase – Merchandise:

Proactively greeting and interacting with every Guest that enters or leaves the shops
Demonstrating and selling merchandise (including alcohol and tobacco) in indoor and outdoor areas
Filling orders, preparing and assembling food items
Cash handling – manual and using computerized registers
Stocking and cleaning shelves and carts
Receiving/putting away stock and deliveries
Stroller/wheelchair rental – including repetitive lifting, stacking and pushing strollers and wheelchairs
Preparation of food/candy
Preparing packages for shipping/delivery
Possible prolonged exposure to weather conditions

Basic Qualifications :
To be eligible to apply for the Italy Cultural Representative Program, you MUST:

Speak English fluently.
Be at least 18 years of age to apply.
Be able to authentically represent Italy.
Be receptive to Disney Look guidelines.
Be fully available to work Sunday through Saturday, including days and nights, holidays and overtime.

Candidates are required to attend a virtual presentation and interview.

Former Cultural Representative Program participants MUST WAIT 12 months from your program end date to apply for a new Cultural Representative Program.

Additional Information :

Pay rate: Cast Members will earn an hourly rate of pay starting at $14.00 per hour depending on the role they are selected to perform.
