Full Job Description :-
Duties

You will operate one or more types of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles typically with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 26,000 and up to 50,000 pounds.
You will drive on public roads (or equivalent) in a full range of traffic conditions and at highway speeds to transport cargo.
You will drive over rough, uneven terrain or unimproved roads and exercises caution when backing to load/unload at docks, ramps, or similar locations.
You will drive predetermined and/or scheduled routes or special runs.
You will read maps and judge road/traffic condition to determine the shortest and safest route.
You will perform operator maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and air pressure in tires, cleaning and washing of vehicles, and performing inspection checklists to ensure safe and proper operation.
You will maintain records and documents actions, such as operator inspection checklists/forms and accident/incident reports.

You are required to possess and maintain a current valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – including air brake AND tanker endorsements.
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Position requires the ability to discern colors, contrast, and depth.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Shift work may be required.
Emergency overtime may be required.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying:
