Position Summary – Office Administrator- HR & IT
Turner Ace Hardware has an immediate opening for an Office Administrator. The primary responsibilities of the Office Administrator are to support administrative functions, maintain accurate and up to date employee records, track projects to ensure documentation is complete and accurate, and support store management teams with administrative tasks (such as onboarding and systems access) as needed. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent organization and time management skills and communicates effectively with Office and Store personnel.

We are 5 family-owned hardware stores in the Northeast Florida Area. Owned and operated by the Turner family for over 50 years. We are all committed to being the Helpful Place by offering our customers knowledgeable advice, helpful service and a high quality, locally relevant products.
Major Responsibilities

Verify employee records are completed/updated in an accurate and timely manner including onboarding, promotions, and terminations
Configure and create accounts/logins with appropriate permissions for new employees to our company platforms
Ensure benefits are being offered to eligible employees and deductions are submitted for payroll
Assist in troubleshooting issues that occur within our HR systems
Create, extract, and distribute reports both regularly and on an ad hoc basis
Support store management teams (currently 5 stores) with administrative tasks and troubleshooting

Minimum Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
High level of attention to detail
High level of organization
A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, and ability to multi-task
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain seated and use a computer for extended periods of time
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
