LIT Program 2022: F & B

Primary Purpose of Position

Leader In Training (LIT) Program-Food & Beverage Division will provide participants with comprehensive experience in roles within our Food & Beverage Department. Participants will sign a year contract, and rotate through our F&B Department in Back of House/Front of House Service/Events. These roles will groom participants for leadership roles within our company or elsewhere. This is a Full Time position, paid hourly-Non Exempt.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete duties assigned for each 4 month role for year -long contract.

Back of House Duties: learning the execution of BOH operations, assisting in prep work, assisting in inventory management and ordering.

Front of House Duties: front of house service, understanding our program philosophy, interacting with guests, assisting with inventory management.

Events Duties: assisting coordinators and event manager with onsite event execution and planning. Events rotation will only occur after rotation in other F&B areas.

Maintain Ranch Standards.

Meet with Department manager monthly.

Meet with HR monthly.

Complete Monthly LIT Program report.

Attend leadership development training sessions.

Participate in Ranch Leadership Mentor Program.

Requirements and Preferences:

Recent graduate from a Hospitality Program.

Prior hotel experience.

Able to commit to a full year contract.
