Stay Montana Maintenance Technician
POSITION SUMMARY:The Maintenance Technician will be accountable for performing all daily tasks as assigned. The care and condition of our properties is a critical component of providing a 5 star experience for our guests and owners. The quality of your work is the foundation for a positive work experience for our guest services and property management team as well. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Maintain properties and property equipment in working order to ensure that guests have a five star experience because everything in the property is in safe, working order
Upon arrival, diagnose malfunctions and defects and determine appropriate corrective measures.
If minor and able to repair, complete assigned tasks, work orders, and maintenance procedures in a timely, safe, and correct manner.
If not, immediately notify property manager if work requires an outside vendor. Follow-up to inspect outside vendor work to ensure it was done properly.
Document all maintenance and services in company assigned software using mobile device
Maintain accurate records of all work activities, materials used, and supplies needed.
Ensure all billable time is appropriately recorded for each job
Work with outside contractors, as directed.
Maintain positive interactions with all co-workers and guests, providing a high level of customer service.
Communicate effectively via email, text, and phone calls in a timely manner, not to exceed one business day.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, prepared for guest and owner interactions if maintenance items need to be addressed during their stay.
Perform all duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a construction or maintenance field
Previous experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.
Highly responsive and reliable with strong attention to detail.
High level of personal accountability that the guest and owner experience is dependent upon your diligence in caring for the property they are staying in
Strong customer service skills & positive attitude
Team Player with a passion for service
Flexible schedule
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Able to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to bend, stretch, walk for long periods of time.

Compensation:

Pay rate based on experience
20 PTO days
