Full Job Description :-
Southeastern College is seeking a results-oriented academic advisor who can work in a fast-paced environment with effective decision-making skills and customer service experience. Academic Advisors assist students by providing support throughout the student’s career path. This position requires a high level of interpersonal communication skills, organization, and strong computer and telephone skills.
Academic Advisors:
Provide academic advising to students related to standards of academic progress.
Maintain updated reports on student progress.
Assist students in course registration
Connect students with resources, such as program directors, tutors, online bookstore support.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of institutional policies.
Provide blackboard and other technical support as needed
Conduct new student online orientation
Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned
· Academic Advisor Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required master’s degree preferred.
Experience in student counseling, development, education, or related field preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to maintain accurate and updated records concerning student performance.
Understanding of institutional policies, procedures, and resources.
A desire to help students in their academic journey, from enrollment to graduation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 – $56,000.00 per year
