Full Job Description :-
The Handicap Coordinator will review workers’ compensation claims/medical records to identify pre-existing conditions that may have delayed recovery. Gather all supporting medical documentation and submit with necessary forms/applications to the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Review medical records of workers’ compensation claims to identify pre-existing conditions that may have delayed recovery
File the necessary paperwork with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation
Review outcomes with employers
File appeals and Hearing Preparation
Maintaining system notes and diaries
Assist with mail distribution
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Excellent customer service and telephone skills
Education and Experience
Experience in Ohio Workers’ Compensation or medical field preferred
High School Diploma
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25 lbs.
