Here’s the list of typical competencies (not exhaustive, of course):

The SVP, Member Experience serves to establish the strategic direction for the planning and execution of all aspects of the member experience. This will include sales, lending, marketing and all revenue generating functions for the CU.
Establish and monitor branch operating standards to protect the credit union from unnecessary losses and risk. Mentor a team focused on providing quality member service to encourage the continued growth of our membership. Responsible for achieving sales, effective marketing efforts, and monitoring compliance with operating and security procedures and applicable regulations.
This individual will champion the Red Rocks Credit Union brand to ensure competitive positioning externally and obtain buy-in internally.
This individual will own all marketing and sales processes.
You will develop and execute strategic business plans for RRCU to support vision, business growth objectives and member experience.
The successful individual for this role will develop and execute effective sales, marketing, and service, strategies to meet defined service, sales, production, and ensure member retention goals are met.
Oversee strategic performance measurements for RRCU’s Net Promoter Score program (responsible for development of) including the collection, monitoring, and reporting member feedback and complaints, troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and partner with team members for solution development and member experience enhancement.
Develop and drive member engagement through the creative and effective execution of cross-channel business development, referral and sales/member engagement programs. Analyze and evaluate the results and effectiveness of programs to ensure optimal performance.
Analyze economic, regulatory, social, cultural and competitive developments
Collaborate with the key stakeholders to coordinate the offering of products, services, and process enhancements and communicate growth opportunities. Develop and coordinate the execution of company-wide promotions and contests within the retail branches.
This individual will oversee the sales and incentive tracking programs to monitor, measure, reward, and reinforce performance.
The SVP, Member Experience will develop and manage budget, operating plan, financial goals, evaluate metrics for area of responsibility and report progress.
Establish, assess and manage the risk level within areas of responsibility and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to mitigate organizational risk.
Perform all responsibilities in accordance with RRCU Values, compliance, regulatory and Information Protection requirements.
You will demonstrate experience in building and coaching a team to high performance levels using positive reinforcement, while providing clear feedback and follow through.
Have a proven track record of transforming a vision into fully rationalized service, sales, and operations definition and delivery.

At Last, the SVP of Member Experience role will…

Report to the President/COO.
Typically requires 10+ years of similar or related experience.
Requires a Masters Degree.
This position typically pays between $185,000 to $195,000 annually, depending on experience.
