Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently looking for a Manager, Facilities Maintenance 2 to work in our Chandler, Arizona location.
Description & Responsibilities:
The F&M Manager works under the direction of the Chandler Facilities and Maintenance Department Senior Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of maintenance logistics, schedule, efficiencies, and vendor and contractor control. Their team will consist of a team of schedulers, planners, contractor coordinators, logistics analysts, and janitorial crews. They are a key member of the Facility, Maintenance leadership team and has administrative responsibilities which include, scheduling, performance reviews, counseling, and interfacing with the customers, engineering, and leadership. They are responsible to ensure that timecards are current, approved and input in a timely manner, supports daily startup meetings and monitors critical jobs.
Competencies for Success:
Successful candidate should have sound communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to work closely with coworkers and engineering staff, financial management skills, and computer skills. This position requires the knowledge and experience to understand scheduling and planning, logistics, and vendor/contractor requirements. This position will work closely with internal customers to ensure the Facilities & Maintenance workforce has all the materials, equipment, and personnel to safely maintain the Bacchus campus.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related experience in scheduling, planning, logistics, or in the maintenance trades.
2 years’ experience leading teams
Skilled in the use of Microsoft products
Must be able to positively interact with crafts, contractors, management, engineering, and customers
U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years’ experience in the manufacturing/energetics value stream
Interim or Active Secret Security Clearance is preferred
Basic familiarity with the Costpoint financial system
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
Knowledge/proficiency in Quality Enterprise System or other quality programs
Leadership experience, and demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor other employees.
Experience with meeting scheduled maintenance and agility to perform and motivate teams under pressure.
Excellent work ethic and ambition

Excellent communication skills

Salary Range: $93,100 USD – $139,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
