As an assembly worker a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
· Follow guidance from specified process instructions, blueprints, and verbalized instructions from other team members to perform assembly tasks.
· Work safely and without injury.
· Perform disassembly and cleaning.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Utilize hand and power tools, build sub-assemblies, mount components and parts to assemblies.
· May rotate into other positions within the team or to another team as required to meet production requirements.
· May participate in defining strategies to meet quality objectives and in system reviews within the team.
· Participate in team meetings as required (safety, problem-solving, etc.).
· Problem-solves individually or as part of a group as job duties require.
· Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled and may be required to work overtime.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities:

Qualifications/Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior experience in assembly.
· Completely trained and competent in one to three assembly cells.

· Ability to continuously improve and learn new skills.
· Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is continuously standing, repetitively grasping and repetitively using fine manipulation with the hands. The team member may be frequently required to walk, bend, squat, or twist as well as repetitively push or pull frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
This position is performed in a shop environment. Team members in this position may be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, hot temperatures, chemicals, and vapors. The team member may occasionally be required to work in an office environment.
The Assembler will use assembly presses, hand, and power tools, measuring instruments, etc.

$1000 Sign-On Bonus: Hourly manufacturing new hires will receive $500 on the next available pay date following their 90-day anniversary, and another $500 following their 180-day anniversary.
