Malone Media Group is a people and process driven advertising firm based in Cypress, TX, in the northwest Houston area. We provide full-service marketing solutions for a range of clients across the United States, including enterprise and single point, Fortune 500 and small business, with a distinct specialization in automotive dealerships. We are currently looking for a rockstar social media analyst to help achieve our vision of becoming the most respected, customer-centric advertising agency for its people, processes, products, partnerships & performance.
As a social media analyst you will join our high-output social media team, produce engaging content across a variety of automotive and non-automotive accounts, publish content across a variety of social media platforms, peer review other team members’ content, create and manage paid boost campaigns, create and contribute to social editorial calendars, and ultimately grow the visibility of our clients’ brands, products, and services, across the socialverse. Your primary metrics of success will be post quality, volume, and engagement.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have a passion for social media, both personally and professionally, as well as possess a thorough understanding of how to create engaging social content. He/she must demonstrate the ability to create a variety of posts across a diverse spectrum of media, including written word, emojis, photo editing, image filters, meme creation, gif generation, video posting, and other emerging media types. The candidate must also be familiar with creating a range of post types, such as announcements, promotions, incentives, holidays, general information, customer reviews, employee highlights, and community engagement, as well as post-sharing and re-posts, such as manufacturer info, national brand campaigns, or public service announcements.
Familiarity working within automotive or financial brand guidelines, compliance restrictions, and legal parameters preferred, but not required.

Design, build, and upload custom social media posts per client initiatives and editorial strategies.
Leverage Tier 1 (national brand) social media, graphics, and video assets available in Ad Planners for engagement aligned with local campaigns.
Complete incoming client requests for social posts and boosts, as assigned by Lead Social Media Analyst.
Review post and profile performance to set account performance benchmarks and improvement goals.
Recommend additional opportunities to further expand the reach and engagement of client social media accounts, which may include features, formats, audiences, or additional platforms.
Identify opportunities to align social media posts with campaigns or incentives being promoted in other channels, such as TV, Radio, YouTube, Google, etc…
Attend client status meetings as needed to provide editorial and performance summaries, provide posting schedules, or to actively brainstorm social campaign ideas.


Create and collaborate to create high quality, engaging social content.
Meet weekly posting requirements per agreed posting schedules.
Utilize RSS Feeds to curate and post share-worthy content.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or 2+ years professional experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Social Media Posting Software (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc…)
Graphic Design (Photoshop, Canva, etc…)
Video Editing
RSS Feeds (Feedly) – Preferred, not required.


Strong communication and organizational skills.
Exceptional ability to manage time and prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency.
Customer Service – Responds promptly to both external and internal customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance by coordinating with appropriate team members.
Interpersonal Skills – Eager listener, solutions-oriented, maintains confidentiality, and possesses a positive approach to conflict resolution.

As assigned.
This is a full-time, salaried, hybrid in-office/remote position based in Cypress, TX.
