The DME team within Magnet Forensics is responsible for the development and support of Magnet DVR Examiner. This software has revolutionized the process of recovering video evidence from surveillance DVRS and is used by hundreds of federal, state, local, and international law enforcement agencies.
Within the broader DME team, the Engineering team develops and maintains software components within Magnet DVR Examiner, including reverse engineering and other research and development efforts.

What You Will Accomplish
Review application source code, implement automated tests (unit tests, integration tests, etc.) and help build innovative testing tools.
Champion quality standards in all teamwork activities helping to ensure company is achieving quality standards from the ground up.
Work closely with developers to assess and advise on testability at the planning phase, investigate software defects, and deliver quality software
Participate in scrum team ceremonies (refinement, planning, etc.) and help ensure appropriate considerations for quality are planned.
Collaborate with your direct team members as well as the engineering org to drive innovation
Adapt to changes as they arise from business & customer needs

Demonstrated passion for testing through college, university, work or life experience
Applied experience working with source code
Willingness to ask questions quickly when details are unclear
Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies
Desire to work in an environment where you have autonomy and can direct the test strategy
Prioritize team collaboration and success
Working proficiency in verbal and written English
Automation of Tests and building Test Frameworks/Harnesses is an asset

Salary and Benefits
$80,000 to $100,000 – The salary offered will depend on experience
