Description:The Inspector, Receiving Inspection will:
Perform all assigned tasks based on demonstrated, certified skills and abilities necessary to inspect electrical/electronic, mechanical, electromechanical
propulsion, or instrumentation top assemblies, sub-assemblies, details, cables, harnesses, printed circuit boards, etc.
Duties include inspection of production, non-flight, and support hardware for specific programs and customers.Ensure that procurement, quality, and engineering requirements are met.Performs systems inspection in multiple product areas. Including inspection of electrical/electronic, mechanical, propulsion, and instrumental systems during launch simulation.Works from blueprints, specifications, Receiving Acceptance Plans, Receiving Reports, Move Tickets, verbal instructions, etc. to inspect purchased items.
Make related checks including verification of finish, material type, and workmanship to ensure compliance to engineering requirements.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required certification.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge in the fields of mechanics, electronics, propulsion and/or instrumentation systemsAbility to use measurement tools and test and calibration equipmentAbility to read engineering drawingsUnderstanding of Microsoft Office and ability to learn other database systemsMust obtain and maintain all certifications as requiredU.S. Citizen
