Thank you for your interest in our recent ad in the Orlando Sentinel and Career Builder. We are currently seeking to add several new team members to assist with our report production process. Here is some information as to the position and requirements.
Can I live anywhere and apply for this position? Yes, but please understand that A PERSONAL INTERVIEW IN LAKE MARY, FLORIDA IS REQUIRED. Unfortunately, your application will not be considered unless you can be available to meet with us, in person, as part of the process.
Is this a full time or part time position? It is PART TIME, but we are looking to maintain a long term relationship with our team members. You would be an independent contractor, and your compensation, which is based on work output instead of hours, will be explained in detail during an interview. We anticipate a regular flow of work.
Who is INTERPOSE? We are an investigative and consulting firm, located in Lake Mary, Florida. We provide world class quality assurance programs for various businesses throughout the United States and abroad. We were founded in 1981, and have been in business for 35 years
What does INTERPOSE do? We provide assistance to businesses by performing anonymous quality audits. Our field agents pose as customers or guests, and we often record the contacts, so that our clients can assess performance.
When would I start? We have an immediate need for these services, so the sooner the better.
What would be my duties? Our final product is a written report, and includes the transcripts of our field contacts. You would listen to the recordings and type them in a verbatim format. Some of our contacts are quite lengthy, and can range from 5 minutes to 5 hours in real time length. All of the templates and formats would be provided for you, along with detailed training.
How can I do this from home? Audio files as well as word processing documents are transferable online. This provides a perfect opportunity for our transcription team members to work from home, at their own pace and convenience. Since we compensate based on the finished product, you can work at your own speed and make your own hours, given that reasonable and easily attainable deadlines are met.
What qualifications do I need? We are looking first and foremost for a work ethic which corresponds with the high standards our clients expect from us. You must also possess excellent grammar skills, computer skills, and an ability and/or willingness to work with Microsoft Word. You must also agree to our confidentiality requirements to ensure that our information and reports are protected. We will perform a background investigation which will include a criminal history check.
What equipment do I need to perform the work required? A personal computer will be necessary, along with a set of quality headphones. All other software and hardware needed will be provided to you at no charge. We will train you at our expense, and provide ongoing assistance, to include screen sharing if necessary, to help you get up and running.
