TITLE: Tier 2 IT Support Location: Lexington/Burlington, MA Help Desk Lead Our client is currently seeking a Tier 2 IT Support to join their team in Lexington, MA! You will be part of a helpdesk team providing support for over 500 end users. Looking self-starter that wants to be part of the healthcare industry to make an impact of the lives of others. This is an opportunity for an individual that wants to grow within a fantastic organization. Position Summary: Provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. Must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers. The goal is to create value for clients that will help preserve the company’s reputation and business. Responsibilities:

Provide direct problem resolution/help desk support to corporate office and remote user systems
Effectively utilize Kace or ticketing system to resolve technical issues submitted.
Continuously update/document tickets.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Follow-up and update customer status and information
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Utilize third party vendors if appropriate for technical support
Develop training materials and procedures
Setup new user accounts and profiles
Support rollout of new systems/software/enhancements to systems
Other duties and projects as requested by management.
Strong background in Microsoft Office 365
Windows 7/8/10
Microsoft Office suite
Microsoft Windows Administration tools (AD Users and Computers, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Sites and Services, etc.)
Understanding of basic network concepts
Understanding of application, desktop, and server virtualization
Understanding of Desktop Deployment / Imaging


Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
Proficiency in English
Excellent communication skills
Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
High School Diploma or GED required
BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field preferred

Working Environment

Regular work schedule: Monday – Friday
