The Compensation Advisor assists in leading the overall support and management of the compensation programs at FedEx Logistics with a consistent compensation philosophy that aligns with the organization objectives. This role will collaborate with functional management as well as leadership by providing professional advice on all compensation matters. Studies and recommends innovative improvement initiatives.
Key accountabilities: Strategic lead role in providing compensation support and reviews all current programs for continued market competitiveness. Designs, develops and executes compensation programs while ensuring compliance. Review of annual salary planning and forecasting of jobs and ranges for the organizations compensation program to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance with pay practices. Creates and analyzes job descriptions, benchmarks pay and assist with wage rate recommendations while ensuring that information is vetted and submitted on time. Review market trends and help develop and track metrics based on the marketplace, pay equity and other factors that may impact the business. Provide oversight of pay trends and possible solutions that may impact critical business projects. Maintains job classification, leveling and title structures to drive consistency and transparency across our compensation programs. Leading role during compensation planning process which includes merit planning and annual incentive programs. Perform project task work or participate on project teams to develop compensation processes that support the growth and success of the organization. Maintain compensation infrastructure (e.g., job codes, job families, integrity of system of record) Required Qualifications Seven (7) years of related compensation experience, including design of compensation plans, merit planning, job pricing, and pay administration. Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in business, human resources, finance, economics, statistics or a related field. Distribution/Transportation or multi-state/location organization experience preferred. Experience with broad-based compensation principals, practices, plan design and administration is a plus. Advanced skills, highly proficient at Excel, pivot tables, graphs and charting a plus. Proven ability to consolidate and manipulate large data sets with a commitment to accuracy and details. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI) and techniques, and/or software. Proven ability to achieve projects and objectives while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience working with HR technology (e.g., Workday) and Compensation data a plus.

Pay Range: $73,224.00 – $166,750.80 depending on company policy and location.
