We are seeking a Mid-Level Transportation Analyst (Level 3) to join our Emergent Operations team within Transportation, Warehousing, and Logistics (TWL) located in either Seattle, Washington or Mesa, Arizona.

You will support enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units. This role is critical to Boeing’s supply chain health, enabling production and supporting various program needs. This is a new position due to increased growth on our Emergent Operations team.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage transportation management processes to ensure they meet customer requirements
Support function including problem analysis, tracking and tracing shipments, expedite shipment management
Determine the most cost-effective methods for transporting goods without sacrificing efficiency and timeliness
Research, create cost estimates, and negotiate transportation options
Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using data about timeliness, cost, types of modes, etc.
Interpret and apply logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives
Execute International freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience solving problems and generating alternatives
3+ years of experience supporting end users in a customer service role
3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or military experience
3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International & Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel
3+ years of route planning experience
3+ years of transportation modal experience (Air, Parcel, Ocean, Rail, Truck)
Possess interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
3+ years of experience in multi-tasking (i.e., handling daily work, urgent emerging issues, project management, and phone call requests, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $53,550 – $99,450.
