Property Management Specialist supports the lifecycle management of Government Property. Integrating with functional groups across the business and supporting diverse teams with processes and procedures that support a healthy Property Management System
Position Responsibilities:
Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company’s obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
Performs audits, documents processes and procedures and investigates and reports lost or damaged property.
Provides support, expertise, concepts and formats to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish a property record for company or government property.
Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition.
Tracks the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy.
Determines property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations.
Ensures that property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements.
Coordinates the physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations.
Verifies that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations.
Confirms that work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards
Reviews records for accuracy and reviews processes for compliance to established procedures and guidelines.
Participates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures. Handles disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements in accordance with procedures.
Completes all property related activities at completion or termination of contract including disposition of property.
Ensures all inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues are resolved.
Participates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures.
Ability to travel 10%
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This is a sensitive/safety-sensitive position and is subject to NASA (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum 3 years of Government Property Management experience
Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree
NPMA – National Property Management Certification- CPPS, CPPA or CPPM
Prior experience with a Government Property Record system
Knowledge of FAR and NASA FAR Supplement Property Clauses
Experience with Gold system
Data analysis experience
Database entry and data analysis skills
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and tasks
Strong customer interface skills and experience to maintain customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers)
Typical Education / Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $44,730 – $83,070
