Job OverviewBillGO is building an industry leading developer first API and portal and is looking for a motivated individual with a passion for ensuring the highest quality for our customers. This role will become a subject matter expert of the product, develop and execute test plans for quality of the platform, work with product and engineering to identify requirements and suggest enchantments to make an overall better solution.DescriptionThis role will be the subject matter expert of the BillGO GOdev solution, responsible for E2E testing of engineering developments before they are released to customers. You will constantly monitor and queue up our end client experience to ensure all systems, widgets and webhooks are performing as expected. This role will directly influence the quality and functionality of our product as it grows for each client we serve.

Become a subject matter expert of the BillGO GOdev solution.
Design, implement, and execute test plans for quality assurance and client acceptance testing.
Work cross-functionally with product, design, operations and engineering teams to deliver high-value products and prioritize quality issues throughout our development.
Identify and inform the development team of defects and errors.
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development and bill payment operation teams.
Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations.
Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product’s efficiency.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Software development practices.
Understanding of Agile development principles.
Experience with planning, designing, and executing tests for web and/or mobile applications.
Proficient with Confluence and Jira ticket creation, escalations and tracking.
Keen attention to detail.
Reading level comprehension with Java, HTML and .NET languages.
Passionate about tooling with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative and innovative thinker.
Diligent and meticulous.

Bonus Points

Background in Fintech or Billpay Operations.
Product owner or scrum master certification.
Experience with performance and stress testing.
Extensive experience quality assurance and testing preferred.
Knowledge of the latest trends in testing, test frameworks, and automation.

The base rate for this role ranges from 50-60k base based on current market assessments, and varies depending on experience
