Full Job Description :-
We are looking for a Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. Driver responsibilities include planning each route based on road and traffic conditions and occasionally accepting payments. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid Florida driver’s license for a minimum of 5 years and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles. Generally, we try to schedule drivers two days in advance. Sometimes, we do get short notice trip requests.
Responsibilities

Must obtain a Palm Beach County ‘Vehicle for Hire” Driver’s badge / permit.
Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
Collect payments.
Load and unload clients’ luggage.
Have an app that tracks flight status.
Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction, as needed
Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
Get the vehicles washed, when needed.

Skills

Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver’s license
A clean driving record
Familiarity with GPS devices
Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
A quick learner, for taking people to and from South and Central Florida airports and seaports. (We no longer go to Miami International Airport.)
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
Availability to take weekend and early and night shifts
A polite, professional, and personable demeanor.
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

On call

COVID-19 considerations:We strongly prefer that driver applicants are vaccinated against COVID 19. This is not only for their protection, but for the protection of our customers, as well. If passenger requests that the driver wears a mask, (s)he should be willing to comply.
Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Driving: 10 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

auto insurance (Preferred)
Florida driver’s license (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
