Full Job Description :-
Medical Claims Processor
APS Medical Billing, located in Toledo Ohio, is seeking experienced medical billers to join our billing team. In this high volume position, this person will follow up on unresolved claims within the standard billing cycle time frame. The medical biller will investigate, identify, research and appeal denied claims. Accuracy and ability to meet deadlines is imperative.

Minimum 1-3 years of medical billing experience
Strong medical billing A/R follow up
Experience with UB-04 billing
Production based focus
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Understanding of medical terminology, medical billing practices and billing reimbursement is essential
Familiar with billing guidelines and regulations in various states; across government and non-government insurance carriers
Strong computer and typing skills
Ability to work Insurance website/portal navigation
