Global Servicing Learning Network (GSLN) provides a full range of dynamic, evolving learning and performance solutions that enrich our colleague’s skills and knowledge, powering customer engagement and driving business results at the right margin. We are a global team focused on enabling outstanding customer care through the on-boarding of our newest Customer Care Professionals/Specialists and supporting on-the-job enrichment.
The Director, Project Management Office will ensure that learning projects are executed effectively and efficiently in direct alignment with business objectives. They will oversee projects and develop and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools. They are expected to further refine the infrastructure for the PMO, influence and eventually lead a team of Project Managers, interfacing with all key learning functions in order to deploy best practices and standardization on project execution.
Key accountabilities & areas of focus:
Define, communicate, and execute the vision and strategies for effective project management across GSLN.
Provide oversight and guidance to the Project Management Office team for the effective and timely execution of projects, including tracking and monitoring.
Facilitate governance for the project portfolio and each individual project.
Maintain and improve project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
Schedule, balance and optimize resources to meet deadlines for deliverables.
5+ years experience in Strategic Planning, Program Management, Project Management, Consulting, and/or Process Transformation
Proven track record of developing strategic frameworks for vaguely defined business problems and ability to turn those frameworks into actionable projects that drive meaningful results
Experience managing large scale global projects with multiple business partner relationships and stakeholders at various levels
Creative thinking, including the ability to identify patterns and propose solutions to long-standing business problems, and ability to act as a catalyst for change.
Strong thought leadership including ability to quickly understand critical linkages and implications of program strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners
Proven ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change
Proven track record of successfully operating in a highly matrix environment and being able to lead and influence without direct authority
Strong working knowledge of internal Global Services Group processes and functional areas strongly preferred
Knowledge SAFe/Agile methodology approach to capabilities and tech prioritization
Preferred Additional:
Project management Certification
Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or 5+ years related work experience leading project teams or consulting
SAFe for Teams experience or POPM certification
