Our Office Manager will oversee all aspects of the day-to-day office needs and operations of a busy manufacturer all the while identifying opportunities to improve daily operations. Regular duties will include working with all staff and departments and actively participating in the day-to-day office needs. The Office Manager will also participate in HR, payroll, overall office management and operations and accounting, as needed and will also plan events, handle employee communications, etc. Will also attend meetings and take detailed meeting minutes, documenting action items and following up with staff accordingly to confirm completion of those items. Responsibilities of Office Manager:
Will include but not be limited to:
This is a wonderful opportunity for a very positive, hands-on, very computer savvy person
Review existing and write new company policies, training materials, SOPs, etc.
Participate in day-to-day administrative duties in the office
Support company departments such as Human Resources, Payroll, Operations, Project Managers, Marketing and more
Answer calls and emails from customers and clients assist them as required
Manage all office supplies and inventory, place orders as necessary, and monitor expenses
Manage facility and all outside vendors, and all office supplies, including ordering and tracking supplies inventory.
Work with all departments do streamline processes and communications
Participate in various company meetings, take meeting minutes, distribute minutes and follow up with all parties to ensure completion of action items.
Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements
Participate in Payroll, Accounts Payable and Human Resources as required
Plan, set up, takedown company events like employee appreciation, luncheons, etc.
Participate in recruiting efforts
Other office related tasks
Office Manager Requirements:
Happy, personable, flexible team player
Willingness to work hands on day-to-day in a small business environment ( less than 100 employees )
Self-starter that enjoys a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Excellent organization and time management skills are very important
Excellent computer skills absolutely necessary
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience in recruiter, recruiting, Payroll and Human Resources a definite plus but not required
